Greetings from the middle of a mid-life crisis!

Greetings and welcome to my blog.  As a member of the baby boomer's generation, much has been written and discussed about how we who were born from 1946-1961 live and suffer and the causes for it all.  Well, they are all correct. Regardless of how each keeps score or tracks their way through life, it all is what it is, with each person having their own story.  This is my attempt to write down mine.

A popular subject we hear about is the proverbial "mid-life crisis".  I was not sure what that means or if people really had them.  the more I live and learn about people, is that some folks have a crisis of some kind every day.  Much of the world offers a struggle to people on a daily basis that I, tucked safely inside middle America can't possibly comprehend.  But, even here in the affluent suburbs of Chicago, on the edge of the great corn and bean fields of Illinois, things of life can pile up and then abruptly and profoundly change all at once.  Hence a crisis, and many times it take half a lifetime for a person to reach this point in the road of life.  On July 19th, 2010, I found myself at this point.  Fortunately, it did not involve a death, divorce or injury. What happened, is somebody bought our house. Now what do we do?
